Location really matters. When I was in college my parents realized a long time dream - of owning a vacation home on the shores of Lake Travis. It really was a beautiful home but because you can’t travel in a straight line through the lake (you have to drive the winding road around it) every kind of convenience was a trek! This was something that they were aware of when they purchased the home, but the reality of it smacked them in the face once they moved in. Just driving to Wal-mart or any grocery store took them the better part of an hour. For this reason (among others) they ended up selling this home.
But I think we can also agree that being TOO close to the hustle and bustle of the city can be exhausting as well. Traffic, noise, and lack of greenery and space can be suffocating. So the ideal spot is something with all the conveniences - but also on the outskirts of a city. A sprinkle of a small town would also be great. Well guess what - that is where we are! :)
Aspen Forest Apartment Homes is really in the ideal location. Northwest Houston, near Tomball has been expanding for years now and it has finally arrived! All conveniences are within minutes - HEB, Whole Foods, Wal-mart, Target, etc… Food including 50+ restaurants are deliciously down the street :-P. Vintage Park Outdoor Shopping Mall is down the street. Multiple Nature Trails are nearby including Charterwood Nature Trail about 100 feet from our Community Entrance. We got it all, yet we are on the outskirts of Houston - near small-town (now hipster) Tomball and my favorite Saturday morning activity - The Tomball Farmers Market (open on Saturdays 9am-1pm).
Originally built as a townhome community, Aspen Forest Apartments is located off of SH 249 and is nestled between two neighborhoods. Charterwood and Woodbend Pines. We are and have always been a very quiet neighborhood. Sheriff John has been living in our community for 7+ years and can attest to that! We are not a gated community, but all too often people rely on the gates of a gated community for the guarantee of safety. I can promise you that a gate does not equal safety. We have been doing this a long time and the best method of safety in our opinion is active, onsight, live staff. We have After Hours Staff that monitors the community every night in person, along with the Sheriff's help we keep a tight ship!
Location, Convenience and Safety are some of the major elements to consider when looking for your next home! We are first rate in these categories and hope you will stop in to take a tour. See you soon:)
Cheers!
